ASIMOB’s services in the USA, Spain, Portugal, Costa Rica, and Chile consolidate a management system based on cognitive AI.
Globalvía is one of the Spanish concessionaires with the longest global track record. Since its inception in 2007, it has built a broad portfolio of concessions in countries such as Spain, Portugal, the USA, Costa Rica, Chile, and Mexico.
Its growth has been accompanied by a strong commitment to innovation, both through its subsidiary Openvía and the technical teams involved in the concessions. The company itself explains this innovative approach on its website.
In 2024, Globalvía presented ASIMOB with a challenge. They wanted to manage all their concessions with a centralized model, where technology would enable more efficient maintenance and allow them to apply all the knowledge acquired across all concessions. This led to the development of an initial service on the M-50 in Madrid, where processes were refined, and subsequently to other services in Galicia, Beira A23 and Transmontana in Portugal, Pocahontas Parkway in the USA, Route 27 in Costa Rica, and Costa Arauco in Chile. What were once multiple methodologies dependent on the knowledge of each concessionaire’s staff have been transformed into structured information, more detailed than in manual processes and accessible to all concessionaires.
