AUDECA is the company of the ELECNOR group dedicated to the upkeep and maintenance of roads. Its contracts include sections of roads from the Spanish Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (MITMA) and roads from the Community of Madrid. It is in the latter where, since 2020, ASIMOB and AUDECA are collaborating in the validation of new Artificial Intelligence solutions for infrastructure monitoring.

Throughout these last three years, AUDECA has been the first company to test automated signal monitoring, road marking monitoring, protection barrier monitoring and road defect detection using Artificial Intelligence.

As ASIMOB’s Autonomous Road Inspector has grown, AUDECA has tested each of the solutions, to later incorporate them into its tender proposals. This July, ASIMOB and AUDECA, have ratified the agreement that allows both companies to grow in the field of Smart Roads.
