On September 17, in the middle of European Mobility Week (SEM), our CEO Ibon Arechalde was interviewed on RNE’s Road Safety program.<\/p>\n

In the program, Ibon Arechalde and Orestes Serrano, from FESVIAL, analysed what the digital transformation of roads should be like for safer mobility management. Computer Vision techniques and the analysis of data collected on board vehicles allow infrastructure to be monitored to prematurely detect defects that occur in it. The technologies exist but today communication is required between the main agents involved in mobility (roads, vehicles and users) for effective and safe management. What is missing to take that step towards smart roads?<\/p>\n

These and other questions also served as a preview for the topics that were subsequently addressed at the Road Safety round table at the USEC Bilbao Congress 2023, on September 20th and 21st.<\/p>\n
